Songs of Being

When I was asked by a church for a collection of Songs of Seeing for their weekly church news email I realized how truly spiritual is the practice of closely observing and celebrating nature.

Existing is a miracle. The existence of our world, our universe, and everything in it surely has to be considered miraculous in the fullest sense of that word.

​

A way of being that brings you closer to the natural world around you will enhance your feelings of wellbeing. It can bring you pleasure, courage, and rescue you from despair.

Nature can be a place of worship, whatever form that takes in your culture, be that church or synagogue, temple or mosque, however you experience your spiritual life.

Just as experiences in life can be quite random in occurrence, the images, the Songs of Seeing- or are they really Songs of Being?- in these galleries are also in random order. Some are amusing and some quite philosophical but all encourage close connection with the world around us. They are yours to ponder, to enjoy, to print, to share.
